1. An energy delivery device configured to provide an acoustic energy to an implantable medical device IMD, the IMD configured to convert the acoustic energy into electrical energy for powering one or more components of the IMD, the energy delivery device comprising:
- an array of acoustic transducer elements, each of the acoustic transducer elements configured to receive a signal from the IMD; and
a controller coupled to the array of acoustic transducer elements, wherein the controller is configured to control one or more of the acoustic transducer elements of the array to transmit the acoustic energy to the IMD based at least in part on the signal received from the IMD.

An acoustic energy delivery system for delivering acoustic energy to an implantable medical device (“IMD”). The system includes an IMD having a power source and an energy delivery device. The energy delivery device includes a controller and an array of ultrasonic elements electrically coupled to the controller and configured to deliver acoustic energy to the IMD. Methods of delivering acoustic energy to an IMD are also disclosed.
