1. A computer-implemented process for vehicle maintenance method comprising:
- receiving a service request at a data center, by a trouble analysis server, from a vehicle control and interconnection system installed in a vehicle, wherein;
the service request is communicated wirelessly by the control and interconnection system;
the service request indicates to the trouble analysis server that the vehicle is in need of assistance; and
the control and interconnection system comprises a supervising processor that communicates with various subsystems within the vehicle through a vehicle interface;
performing an analysis by the trouble analysis server based upon the service request, to diagnose an issue that caused the control and interconnection system to communicate the service request;
selecting a remote service center based upon at least one of the service request and the analysis performed by the trouble analysis server;
initiating a communication from the trouble analysis server to a computer of the selected remote service center to service the vehicle by communicating information describing the diagnosed issue;
receiving a service complete communication from the selected remote service center that performed the service to the vehicle, including information characterizing the service that was performed on the vehicle; and
validating the service by initiating a verification communication to the control and interconnection system of the vehicle that was serviced to verify that the service performed on the vehicle corrected the diagnosed issue, the verification command causing the control and interconnection system to poll at least one vehicle subsystem to obtain operational data to confirm that the diagnosed issue is properly resolved.

Abstract
A service request is received by a remote trouble analysis server from a vehicle control and interconnection system installed in a vehicle, indicating that the vehicle is in need of assistance. An analysis is performed by the trouble analysis server based upon the service request, a remote service center is selected, and a communication is initiated from the trouble analysis server to a computer of the selected remote service center to effect repair of the vehicle. The vehicle is relocated to a service bay for necessary repair, and a service complete communication is received from a service bay computer of the service bay that performed the repair. Then, a verification communication is initiated to the control and interconnection system of the vehicle, whereby the control and interconnection system polls at least one vehicle subsystem to confirm that the diagnosed problem is properly resolved.
