1. An apparatus, comprising:

  • a plurality of high-Q inductive structures electrically interconnected and arranged in an array to form a composite high-Q inductive structure for wireless power transfer, each one of the plurality of inductive structures comprising a block of a magnetic material having a conductor wrapped around a cross section thereof to form at least one loop enclosing an area substantially equal to the cross section, wherein the plurality of inductive structures are oriented so that a dipole moment of each one of the plurality of inductive structures is substantially aligned with a dipole moment of each other one of the plurality of inductive structures.
