1. A method, comprising:

  • determining, using one or more processors, a sensitivity value for each of a predetermined number of analyte sensors;

    determining, using the one or more processors, a sensitivity variation for each of the predetermined number of analyte sensors;

    determining, using the one or more processors, a mean sensitivity based on the sensitivity value determined for each of the predetermined number of analyte sensors when it is determined that the determined sensitivity variations each do not exceed a tolerance threshold level;

    associating, using the one or more processors, a sensor code with an analyte sensor batch associated with the predetermined number of analyte sensors when the mean sensitivity is within a predetermined sensitivity range; and

    providing a plurality of packagings for the analyte sensor batch, each packaging including the sensor code.
