1. A wireless power transfer system, comprising:

  • a flexible substrate adapted to conform to the body of a patient;

    a first transmitter resonator disposed on the flexible substrate;

    a second transmitter resonator disposed on the flexible substrate, the second transmitter resonator being in electronic communication with the first transmitter resonator;

    a receiver resonator; and

    a transmit controller configured to drive the first and second transmitter resonators to deliver wireless energy to the receiver resonator, wherein the transmit controller is configured to operate in a test mode to drive the first transmitter resonator individually while a receive controller in the receiver resonator is configured to record a polarity of the magnetic flux received from the first transmitter resonator, and wherein the polarity of the magnetic flux is defined by a direction in which the magnetic flux passes through the receiver resonator.
