- a database comprising device identifiers and status information associated with a plurality of external defibrillators; and
a computer located remotely from the plurality of external defibrillators and configured to be communicatively coupled to the plurality of external defibrillators and to;
receive status information updates from the plurality of external defibrillators;
update the status information with the status information updates;
receive from a requestor a request to access the status information;
authenticate the requestor in response to the request;
based on the authentication of the requestor, determine, from amongst the plurality of external defibrillators identified in the database, a set of external defibrillators associated with the requestor; and
send the status information for the determined set of external defibrillators to at least one remote user interface associated with the requestor,wherein the status information comprises at least one of a self-test result, a date of last servicing, and a status of a component, of one or more of the plurality of external defibrillators, wherein the self-test result indicates whether the one or more of the plurality of external defibrillators failed the self-test, and wherein the self-test result indicates whether the one or more of the plurality of external defibrillators passed the self-test.

a database comprising device identifiers and status information for a plurality of automated external defibrillators (AEDs); and a computer located remotely from the plurality of AEDs and configured to be communicatively coupled to the plurality of AEDs and to; receive the status information from the plurality of AEDs; store the status information in the database; receive from a requestor a request to access the status information; authenticate the requestor in response to the request; based on the authentication of the requestor, determine, from amongst the plurality of AEDs identified in the database, a set of AEDs associated with the requestor; and send the status information for the determined set of AEDs to at least one remote user interface associated with the requestor, wherein the status information comprises at least one of a self-test result, a date of last servicing, and a status of a component, of one or more of the plurality of AEDs, wherein the self-test result indicates whether the one or more of the plurality of AEDs failed the self-test, and wherein the self-test result indicates whether the one or more of the plurality of AEDs passed the self-test.
