1. A method of operating a gaming system, said method comprising:

  • receiving information associated with a player loyalty account; and

    responsive to a determination occurring, based at least in part on a usage of a processor of a wager gaming machine, to allocate a first resource to a remote host;

    causing the wager gaming machine to display a graphical user interface indicating a plurality of widgets associated with the player loyalty account, wherein the wager gaming machine is associated with a credit balance which is increasable via an acceptor of a physical item associated with a monetary value, and said credit balance is decreasable via a cashout device configured to receive an input to cause an initiation of a payout associated with the credit balance;

    receiving an indication regarding a desired widget of the displayed plurality of widgets; and

    after receiving the indication regarding the desired widget, enabling the desired widget.
