Abstract

Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods, and computer program products for active, real-time control of a plurality of devices and associated applications for monitoring and completing one or more targets through an interactive integrated interface. In this regard, the system determines a plurality of devices and applications associated with the user. The system then determines one or more targets of the user based on analyzing device information, application information and user information. The one or more targets are configured to be completed by modifying control factors associated with the devices. The system may then initiate a display of the targets on the interactive integrated interface and enable the user to select suitable targets. Following the selection of targets by the user, the system configures applications and devices associated with the targets to provide information and feedback associated with the selected targets.

Claims

1. An apparatus for configuration and device connectivity based on user selection, whereby the apparatus provides a comprehensive integrated platform for device discovery, active device control and target configuration, the system comprising:

at least one memory device;

at least one communication device connected to a distributed network;

at least one processing device operatively coupled to the at least one memory device and the at least one communication device; and

a module stored in the at least one memory device comprising executable instructions that when executed by the at least one processing device, cause the at least one processing device to;

establish an operative connection with a user device associated with a user, wherein establishing the operative connection comprises providing an interactive integrated interface on the user device;

retrieve user information, wherein the user information comprises user activity information;

determine a plurality of applications associated with the user, wherein the plurality of applications are determined by retrieving application information associated with the plurality of applications from the user device;

determine a plurality of devices associated with the user, each device of the plurality of devices being associated with at least one associated application of the plurality of applications, wherein determining the plurality of devices associated with the user further comprises analyzing the application information;

determine one or more control factors for each of the plurality of devices, wherein the at least one associated application is configured to modify the one or more control factors to control the plurality of devices;

determine one or more targets associated with the user, the one or more targets being configured to be completed by modifying the one or more control factors associated with the plurality of devices;

initiate, via the established operative connection, a presentation of the one or more targets on the interactive integrated interface for display on the user device;

receive, via the interactive integrated interface, a user selection of at least one target of the one or more targets, the at least one target being associated with a plurality target devices of the plurality of devices, the plurality of target devices being associated with a plurality of target applications;

initiate, via the operative connection, the presentation of one or more target attributes associated with the at least one target, wherein the one or more target attributes comprise a target time period, optimal values of target benefits and optimal values of the one or more control factors associated with the plurality of target devices; and

transmit control instructions to the plurality of target applications to configure the plurality of target applications to provide information and feedback related to the one or more control factors associated with the plurality of target devices in order to aid in completing the at least one target selected by the user;

wherein transmitting the control instructions to the plurality of target applications further comprises;

establishing communication links with the plurality of target applications, wherein establishing the communication links comprises linking with the plurality of target devices through the plurality of target applications to enable active, real-time control of the plurality of target devices through the plurality of target applications for monitoring and completing the at least one target via the interactive integrated interface; and

transmit, via the established communication links, control instructions to the plurality of target devices, the control instructions configured to control the plurality of target devices by modifying the associated control factors in accordance with the target attributes.

2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the user information further comprises user social media information, wherein the module further comprises instructions that cause the at least one processing device to:

identify patterns of user interaction with the determined plurality of applications and the plurality of devices based on analyzing the user activity information;

determine user preferences based on analyzing user comments associated with the user social media information; and

determine the one or more targets associated with the user based on at least the patterns of user interaction and the user preferences.

3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of devices are associated with a device location, the device location comprising fixed locations and variable locations, wherein the module further comprises instructions that cause the at least one processing device to:

determine the device location for each of the plurality of devices; and

determine one or more targets based on at least determining that a target location associated with the one or more targets is the same as the device location of at least one device of the plurality of devices.

4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein determining one or more targets associated with the user further comprises:

determining one or more target categories based on analyzing the application information and the user information, the target categories comprising savings targets, investing targets, earning targets, management targets, and protection targets;

receiving, via the interactive integrated interface a user selection of at least one target category of the one or more target categories; and

determining the one or more targets based on identifying, for each target of the one or more targets, a target benefit associated with the at least one selected target category.

5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the module further comprises instructions that cause the at least one processing device to:

receive, via the interactive integrated interface user input comprising one or more additional devices and/or one or more additional applications associated with the at least one target;

enable the user to modify, via the interactive integrated interface, at least one target attribute associated with the at least one target;

determine updated target attributes based on the at least one modified target attribute received from the user, wherein the updated target attributes comprise one or more target attributes not modified by the user; and

transmit, via the established communication links, modified control instructions to the plurality of target devices and the one or more additional devices, the modified control instructions configured to control the devices by modifying the associated control factors to obtain the modified target attributes and the updated target attributes.

6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the module further comprises instructions that cause the at least one processing device to:

receive, via the established communication link, from the plurality of target devices, current values of the one or more control factors;

compare, the received current values of the one or more control factors and the optimal values of the one or more control factors associated with the at least one target;

transmit, via the established communication links, modified control instructions to the plurality of target devices, the modified control instructions configured to control the plurality of target devices based on comparing the received current values and the optimal values, to achieve the one or more target attributes;

determine a completion status of the at least one target; and

transmit, via the operative connection, a notification to the user device, wherein the notification causes the interactive integrated interface to display at least the modified control instructions and the completion status of the at least one target.

7. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein initiating the presentation of the one or more targets further comprises:

determining, for each target of the one or more targets, the plurality of applications associated with the target;

determining storage locations of the plurality of applications and establishing data channels for communication between the user device and the plurality of applications;

extracting representative elements associated with each of the plurality of applications from the storage locations, wherein the representative elements comprise at least one of a textual element, a graphical element and an audio element; and

displaying the one or more targets, the plurality of devices, the one or more control factors and the representative elements associated with the plurality of applications on the interactive integrated interface.

A computer program product for configuration and device connectivity based on user selection, whereby the computer program product provides a comprehensive integrated platform for device discovery, active device control and target configuration, comprising a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable instructions to:

establish an operative connection with a user device associated with a user, wherein establishing the operative connection comprises providing an interactive integrated interface on the user device;

retrieve user information, wherein the user information comprises user activity information;

determine a plurality of applications associated with the user, wherein the plurality of applications are determined by retrieving application information associated with the plurality of applications from the user device;

determine a plurality of devices associated with the user, each device of the plurality of devices being associated with at least one associated application of the plurality of applications, wherein determining the plurality of devices associated with the user further comprises analyzing the application information;

determine one or more control factors for each of the plurality of devices, wherein the at least one associated application is configured to modify the one or more control factors to control the plurality of devices;

determine one or more targets associated with the user, the one or more targets being configured to be completed by modifying the one or more control factors associated with the plurality of devices;

initiate, via the established operative connection, a presentation of the one or more targets on the interactive integrated interface for display on the user device;

receive, via the interactive integrated interface, a user selection of at least one target of the one or more targets, the at least one target being associated with a plurality target devices of the plurality of devices, the plurality of target devices being associated with a plurality of target applications;

initiate, via the operative connection, the presentation of one or more target attributes associated with the at least one target, wherein the one or more target attributes comprise a target time period, optimal values of target benefits and optimal values of the one or more control factors associated with the plurality of target devices; and

transmit control instructions to the plurality of target applications to configure the plurality of target applications to provide information and feedback related to the one or more control factors associated with the plurality of target devices in order to aid in completing the at least one target selected by the user;

wherein transmitting the control instructions to the plurality of target applications further comprises;

establishing communication links with the plurality of target applications, wherein establishing the communication links comprises linking with the plurality of target devices through the plurality of target applications to enable active, real-time control of the plurality of target devices through the plurality of target applications for monitoring and completing the at least one target via the interactive integrated interface; and

transmit, via the established communication links, control instructions to the plurality of target devices, the control instructions configured to control the plurality of target devices by modifying the associated control factors in accordance with the target attributes.

9. The computer program product of claim 8, wherein the user information further comprises user social media information, wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium further having computer-executable instructions to:

identify patterns of user interaction with the determined plurality of applications and the plurality of devices based on analyzing the user activity information;

determine user preferences based on analyzing user comments associated with the user social media information; and

determine the one or more targets associated with the user based on at least the patterns of user interaction and the user preferences.

The computer program product of claim 8, wherein each of the plurality of devices are associated with a device location, the device location comprising fixed locations and variable locations, wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium further having computer-executable instructions to:

determine the device location for each of the plurality of devices; and

determine one or more targets based on at least determining that a target location associated with the one or more targets is the same as the device location of at least one device of the plurality of devices.

11. The computer program product of claim 8, wherein determining one or more targets associated with the user further comprises:

determining one or more target categories based on analyzing the application information and the user information, the target categories comprising savings targets, investing targets, earning targets, management targets, and protection targets;

receiving, via the interactive integrated interface a user selection of at least one target category of the one or more target categories; and

determining the one or more targets based on identifying, for each target of the one or more targets, a target benefit associated with the at least one selected target category.

12. The computer program product of claim 8, wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium further having computer-executable instructions to:

receive, via the interactive integrated interface user input comprising one or more additional devices and/or one or more additional applications associated with the at least one target;

enable the user to modify, via the interactive integrated interface, at least one target attribute associated with the at least one target;

determine updated target attributes based on the at least one modified target attribute received from the user, wherein the updated target attributes comprise one or more target attributes not modified by the user; and

transmit, via the established communication links, modified control instructions to the plurality of target devices and the one or more additional devices, the modified control instructions configured to control the devices by modifying the associated control factors to obtain the modified target attributes and the updated target attributes.

13. The computer program product of claim 8, wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium further having computer-executable instructions to:

receive, via the established communication link, from the plurality of target devices, current values of the one or more control factors;

compare, the received current values of the one or more control factors and the optimal values of the one or more control factors associated with the at least one target;

transmit, via the established communication links, modified control instructions to the plurality of target devices, the modified control instructions configured to control the plurality of target devices based on comparing the received current values and the optimal values, to achieve the one or more target attributes;

determine a completion status of the at least one target; and

transmit, via the operative connection, a notification to the user device, wherein the notification causes the interactive integrated interface to display at least the modified control instructions and the completion status of the at least one target.

14. A method for configuration and device connectivity based on user selection, whereby the method provides a comprehensive integrated platform for device discovery, active device control and target configuration, the method comprising:

establishing an operative connection with a user device associated with a user, wherein establishing the operative connection comprises providing an interactive integrated interface on the user device;

retrieving user information, wherein the user information comprises user activity information;

determining a plurality of applications associated with the user, wherein the plurality of applications are determined by retrieving application information associated with the plurality of applications from the user device;

determining a plurality of devices associated with the user, each device of the plurality of devices being associated with at least one associated application of the plurality of applications, wherein determining the plurality of devices associated with the user further comprises analyzing the application information;

determining one or more control factors for each of the plurality of devices, wherein the at least one associated application is configured to modify the one or more control factors to control the plurality of devices;

determining one or more targets associated with the user, the one or more targets being configured to be completed by modifying the one or more control factors associated with the plurality of devices;

initiating, via the established operative connection, a presentation of the one or more targets on the interactive integrated interface for display on the user device;

receiving, via the interactive integrated interface, a user selection of at least one target of the one or more targets, the at least one target being associated with a plurality target devices of the plurality of devices, the plurality of target devices being associated with a plurality of target applications;

initiate, via the operative connection, the presentation of one or more target attributes associated with the at least one target, wherein the one or more target attributes comprise a target time period, optimal values of target benefits and optimal values of the one or more control factors associated with the plurality of target devices; and

transmitting control instructions to the plurality of target applications to configure the plurality of target applications to provide information and feedback related to the one or more control factors associated with the plurality of target devices in order to aid in completing the at least one target selected by the user;

wherein transmitting the control instructions to the plurality of target applications further comprises;

establishing communication links with the plurality of target applications, wherein establishing the communication links comprises linking with the plurality of target devices through the plurality of target applications to enable active, real-time control of the plurality of target devices through the plurality of target applications for monitoring and completing the at least one target via the interactive integrated interface; and

transmit, via the established communication links, control instructions to the plurality of target devices, the control instructions configured to control the plurality of target devices by modifying the associated control factors in accordance with the target attributes.

15. The method of claim 14, wherein the user information further comprises user social media information, wherein the method further comprises:

identifying patterns of user interaction with the determined plurality of applications and the plurality of devices based on analyzing the user activity information;

determining user preferences based on analyzing user comments associated with the user social media information; and

determining the one or more targets associated with the user based on at least the patterns of user interaction and the user preferences.

16. The method of claim 14, wherein each of the plurality of devices are associated with a device location, the device location comprising fixed locations and variable locations, wherein the method further comprises:

determining the device location for each of the plurality of devices; and

determining one or more targets based on at least determining that a target location associated with the one or more targets is the same as the device location of at least one device of the plurality of devices.

17. The method of claim 14, wherein determining one or more targets associated with the user further comprises:

determining one or more target categories based on analyzing the application information and the user information, the target categories comprising savings targets, investing targets, earning targets, management targets, and protection targets;

receiving, via the interactive integrated interface a user selection of at least one target category of the one or more target categories; and

determining the one or more targets based on identifying, for each target of the one or more targets, a target benefit associated with the at least one selected target category.
