1. A method, comprising:

  • creating, by a computer, a plurality of profiles including a first profile of a first sender, each profile for a respective sender of at least one of a plurality of communications, each profile including a plurality of web page links, and each of the web page links for the respective profile extracted from one of the plurality of communications of the respective sender, wherein each of the plurality of web page links points to a respective web page, a first communication of the plurality of communications includes a first link that points to a first web page, the first communication includes text that describes web page content of the first web page, the text includes at least one keyword, the at least one keyword is not included in the first link, and the first profile includes the first link;

    extracting the at least one keyword from the first communication;

    gathering the web page content from the first web page;

    characterizing, by the computer, respective content associated with each of the plurality of web page links to provide characterization data, wherein the characterization data for the first link comprises the web page content and the at least one keyword; and

    storing, in memory, the characterization data for use in responding to an access request.
