Abstract

An in-vehicle navigation apparatus with a handsfree function establishes a Bluetooth communication link with a cellular phone. When receiving from the cellular phone outgoing call history data and incoming call history data, which were stored in the cellular phone before establishing the Bluetooth communication link, the in-vehicle navigation apparatus stores, in a work memory, the received outgoing call history data and the received incoming call history data, equally to, of the navigation apparatus itself, outgoing call history data and incoming call history data. An outgoing call operation then becomes possible using outgoing call history data and incoming call history data, which are stored in the work memory.

Claims

1. An in-vehicle handsfree apparatus allowing a handsfree phone call by establishing a wireless connection with a cellular phone, the cellular phone storing incoming call history data indicating a source telephone number of an incoming call, and outgoing call history data indicating a destination telephone number of an outgoing call,

the handsfree apparatus comprising:

a control section configured to perform a communication using a transfer protocol for realizing transfer of the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data, which are stored in the cellular phone prior to the wireless connection between the handsfree apparatus and the cellular phone, when the cellular phone exists in a wireless connection area;

a communication section configured to receive the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data from the cellular phone via the communication using the transfer protocol;

a data storage section configured to store the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data, which are received; and

a display section configured to display the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data;

the control section being further configured to perform, when all history data including the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data are displayed in the display section collectively and without differentiating the incoming call history data from the outgoing call history data in the display section, a comparison to compare dates and times included in the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data, the control section causing the display section to display all the history data in order from a newer one based on a result of the performed comparison;

wherein;

when it is determined that a date and time of an incoming call is identical to a date and time of an outgoing call based on the result of the performed comparison, the outgoing call is displayed as being newer than the incoming call;

the outgoing call history data is transmitted from the cellular phone in such a format that an order of outgoing calls is identifiable; and

when displaying the outgoing call history data, the control section causes the display section to display the outgoing call history data in an order of outgoing calls using the format that the order of outgoing calls is identifiable, instead of using date and time included in the received outgoing call data, so as to determine a display order.

An vehicle handsfree apparatus allowing a handsfree phone call by establishing a wireless connection with a cellular phone, the cellular phone storing incoming call history data indicating a source telephone number of an incoming call, and outgoing call history data indicating a destination telephone number of an outgoing call,

the handsfree apparatus comprising:

a control section configured to perform a communication using a transfer protocol for realizing transfer of the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data, which are stored in the cellular phone prior to the wireless connection between the handsfree apparatus and the cellular phone, when the cellular phone exists in a wireless connection area;

a communication section configured to receive the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data from the cellular phone via the communication using the transfer protocol;

a data storage section configured to store the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data, which are received; and

a display section configured to display the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data;

the control section being further configured to perform, when all history data including the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data are displayed in the display section collectively and without differentiating the incoming call history data from the outgoing call history data in the display section, a comparison to compare dates and times included in the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data, the control section causing the display section to display all the history data in order from a newer one based on a result of the performed comparison;

wherein;

when it is determined that a date and time of an incoming call is identical to a date and time of an outgoing call based on the result of the performed comparison, the outgoing call is displayed as being newer than the incoming call;

the incoming call history data is transmitted from the cellular phone in such a format that an order of incoming calls is identifiable; and

when displaying the incoming call history data, the control section causes the display section to display in an order of incoming calls using the format that the order of incoming calls is identifiable, instead of using date and time included in the received incoming call data, so as to determine a display order.

An in-vehicle handsfree apparatus allowing a handsfree phone call by establishing a wireless connection with a cellular phone, the cellular phone storing (i) incoming call history data indicating a source telephone number of an incoming call and a date and time of the incoming call, and (ii) outgoing call history data indicating a destination telephone number of an outgoing call and a date and time of the outgoing call,

the handsfree apparatus comprising:

a control section configured to perform a communication using a transfer protocol for realizing transfer of the incoming call history data containing the date and time and the outgoing call history data containing the date and time, which are stored in the cellular phone prior to the wireless connection between the handsfree apparatus and the cellular phone, when the cellular phone exists in a wireless connection area;

a communication section configured to receive the incoming call history data containing the date and time and the outgoing call history data containing the date and time from the cellular phone via the communication using the transfer protocol;

a data storage section configured to store the outgoing call history data containing the date and time and the incoming call history data containing the date and time, which are received,

the control section being further configured to sort dates and times contained in both the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data that are stored in the data storage section, in order of date and time without differentiating the incoming call history data from the outgoing call history data, to provide sorted dates and times of all history data including the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data; and

a display section configured to display the all history data collectively in an order of the sorted dates and times and without differentiating the incoming call history data from the outgoing call history data in the display section;

wherein

in cases where new outgoing call history data or new incoming call history data occurs after receiving, as first incoming call history data and first outgoing call history data, the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data from the cellular phone using the transfer protocol,

the new outgoing call history data being of a new outgoing call made from the handsfree apparatus after receiving the first incoming call history data and the first outgoing call history data,

the new incoming call history data being of a new incoming call that is notified of from the cellular phone after receiving the first incoming call history data and the first outgoing call history data,

the control section causes the display section to display the new incoming call history data or the new outgoing call history data as being newer in date and time than the first incoming call history data and the first outgoing call history data.

4. The in-vehicle handsfree apparatus according to claim 3,

wherein, when a date and time of an incoming call is identical to a date and time of an outgoing call, the outgoing call is displayed as being newer than the incoming call.

5. The in-vehicle handsfree apparatus according to claim 3,

wherein, when a date and time of an incoming call is identical to a date and time of an outgoing call, the incoming call is displayed as being newer than the outgoing call.

An in-vehicle handsfree apparatus allowing a handsfree phone call by establishing a wireless connection with a cellular phone, the cellular phone storing (i) incoming call history data indicating a source telephone number of an incoming call and a date and time of the incoming call, and (ii) outgoing call history data indicating a destination telephone number of an outgoing call and a date and time of the outgoing call,

the handsfree apparatus comprising:

a control section configured to perform a communication using a transfer protocol for realizing transfer of the incoming call history data containing the date and time and the outgoing call history data containing the date and time, which are stored in the cellular phone prior to the wireless connection between the handsfree apparatus and the cellular phone, when the cellular phone exists in a wireless connection area;

a communication section configured to receive the incoming call history data containing the date and time and the outgoing call history data containing the date and time from the cellular phone via the communication using the transfer protocol;

a data storage section configured to store the outgoing call history data containing the date and time and the incoming call history data containing the date and time, which are received,

the control section being further configured to sort dates and times contained in both the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data that are stored in the data storage section, in order of date and time without differentiating the incoming call history data from the outgoing call history data, to provide sorted dates and times of all history data including the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data; and

a display section configured to display the all history data collectively in an order of the sorted dates and times and without differentiating the incoming call history data from the outgoing call history data in the display section,

wherein;

in cases where new outgoing call history data or new incoming call history data occurs at an occurrence date and time obtained in the handsfree apparatus after receiving, as first incoming call history data and time and first outgoing call history data, the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data from the cellular phone using the transfer protocol,

the new outgoing call history data being of a new outgoing call made from the handsfree apparatus after receiving the first incoming call history data and the first outgoing call history data,

the new incoming call history data being of a new incoming call that is notified of from the cellular phone after receiving the first incoming call history data and the first outgoing call history data,

the display control section causes the display section to display

the new outgoing call history data or the new incoming call history data, along with the occurrence time and date, and

the all history data along with dates and times that are contained in the first outgoing call history data and the first incoming call history data transferred from the cellular phone; and

the display control section causes the display section to display the new incoming call history data or the new outgoing call history data as being newer in date and time than the first incoming call history data and the first outgoing call history data.

7. The in-vehicle handsfree apparatus according to claim 6,

wherein, when a date and time of an incoming call is identical to a date and time of an outgoing call, the outgoing call is displayed as being newer than the incoming call.

8. The in-vehicle handsfree apparatus according to claim 6,

wherein, when a date and time of an incoming call is identical to a date and time of an outgoing call, the incoming call is displayed as being newer than the outgoing call.

An in-vehicle handsfree apparatus allowing a handsfree phone call by establishing a wireless connection with a cellular phone, the cellular phone storing incoming call history data indicating a source telephone number of an incoming call, and outgoing call history data indicating a destination telephone number of an outgoing call,

the handsfree apparatus comprising:

a control section configured to perform a communication using a transfer protocol for realizing transfer of the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data, which are stored in the cellular phone prior to the wireless connection between the handsfree apparatus and the cellular phone, when the cellular phone exists in a wireless connection area;

a communication section configured to receive the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data from the cellular phone via the communication using the transfer protocol;

a data storage section configured to store the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data, which are received; and

a display section configured to display the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data,

the control section being further configured to perform, when all history data including the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data are displayed in the display section, a comparison to compare dates and times included in the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data, the control section causing the display section to display all the history data in order from a newer one based on a result of the performed comparison,

wherein, when it is determined that a date and time of an incoming call is identical to a date and time of an outgoing call based on the result of the performed comparison, the outgoing call is displayed as being newer than the incoming call, wherein;

the outgoing call history data is transmitted from the cellular phone in such a format that an order of outgoing calls is identifiable; and

when displaying the outgoing call history data, the control section causes the display section to display the outgoing call history data in an order of outgoing calls using the format that the order of outgoing calls is identifiable, instead of using date and time included in the received outgoing call data, so as to determine a display order.

10. The in-vehicle handsfree apparatus according to claim 9, wherein:

the incoming call history data is transmitted from the cellular phone in such a format that an order of incoming calls is identifiable; and

when displaying the incoming call history data, the control section causes the display section to display in an order of incoming calls using the format that the order of incoming calls is identifiable, instead of using date and time included in the received incoming call data, so as to determine a display order.

11. An in-vehicle handsfree apparatus allowing a handsfree phone call by establishing a wireless connection with a cellular phone, the cellular phone storing incoming call history data indicating a source telephone number of an incoming call, and outgoing call history data indicating a destination telephone number of an outgoing call,

the handsfree apparatus comprising:

a control section configured to perform a communication using a transfer protocol for realizing transfer of the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data, which are stored in the cellular phone prior to the wireless connection between the handsfree apparatus and the cellular phone, when the cellular phone exists in a wireless connection area;

a communication section configured to receive the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data from the cellular phone via the communication using the transfer protocol;

a data storage section configured to store the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data, which are received; and

a display section configured to display the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data,

the control section being further configured to perform, when all history data including the incoming call history data and the outgoing call history data are displayed in the display section, a comparison to compare dates and times included in the outgoing call history data and the incoming call history data, the control section causing the display section to display all the history data in order from a newer one based on a result of the performed comparison,

wherein, when it is determined that a date and time of an incoming call is identical to a date and time of an outgoing call based on the result of the performed comparison, the outgoing call is displayed as being newer than the incoming call, wherein;

the incoming call history data is transmitted from the cellular phone in such a format that an order of incoming calls is identifiable; and

when displaying the incoming call history data, the control section causes the display section to display in an order of incoming calls using the format that the order of incoming calls is identifiable, instead of using date and time included in the received incoming call data, so as to determine a display order.

12. The in-vehicle hands free apparatus according to claim 11, wherein;

the outgoing call history data is transmitted from the cellular phone in such a format that an order of outgoing calls is identifiable; and

when displaying the outgoing call history data, the control section causes the display section to display the outgoing call history data in an order of outgoing calls using the format that the order of outgoing calls is identifiable, instead of using date and time included in the received outgoing call data, so as to determine a display order.
