1. , a kind of method that purifies from the waste gas stream of internal combustion engine, described waste gas stream comprises hydrocarbon, coal smoke, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide, this method comprises the steps:

  • (a) in first reactor in the presence of first catalyst, hydrocarbon and part coal smoke are carried out oxidation, positive oxygenated hydrocarbon of this first catalyst and coal smoke and not oxidation sulfur dioxide, and form part purified waste gas stream;

    (b) cool off this part purified waste gas stream;

    (c) in second reactor in the presence of second catalyst, the carbon monoxide in the part purified waste gas stream is carried out oxidation, the positive oxidizing carbon monoxide of this second catalyst and not oxidation sulfur dioxide;

    With(d) reclaim purified waste gas stream.
