1. for a zirconium base alloy for the erosion resistance with improvement of nuclear reactor hot environment, described alloy comprises:

  • 0.2-1.5 % by weight niobium,0.01-0.6 % by weight iron,Be selected from following additional alloy element;

    0.0-0.8 % by weight tin0.0-0.5 % by weight chromium0.0-0.3 % by weight copper0.0-0.3 % by weight vanadium0.0-0.1 % by weight nickel, andSurplus, at least 97 % by weight zirconiums, comprises impurity, and wherein said alloy is characterised in that;

    owing to being selected from one of following final thermal treatment, it has the corrosion resistance of improvement;

    SRA or PRXA (15-20%RXA) that low erosion resistance i) is provided;

    Or ii) provide RXA or the PRXA (80-95%RXA) of low creep speed.
