1. A constraining sheath that is evertable and at least partially everts in a delivery configuration, the constraining sheath comprising:

  • an inner and outer layer inversion sheath configured to cover a distal region of a length of an elongate member and the distal region of the length configured to have a medical device carried thereon;

    the inner and outer layers at least partially defining a chamber,wherein the inversion sheath everts when the chamber is pressurized,and when the chamber is pressurized, the overall profile of the inverted sheath is shortened such that the distal end region of the length of the elongate member is fully exposed,and the inverted sheath comprises a material capable of decreasing in diameter when stretched and decreasing in diameter when increased in diameter.
