1. A cooling system for an emergency cooling tank, comprising:

  • an emergency cooling tank configured to store therein cooling water that receives heat transferred from the nuclear reactor or the vessel when an accident occurs in the nuclear reactor;

    a heat exchange device installed to be exposed to the outside of the emergency cooling tank to operate in the air, and configured to release heat to the outside by heat exchange between a fluid formed by evaporation of cooling water in the emergency cooling tank and the air so that the operation of the emergency cooling tank is continued even without refilling of the cooling water; and

    an opening and closing unit installed at an upper portion of the emergency cooling tank to be located higher than a water level of the cooling water, for discharging the fluid generated by evaporation of the cooling water,wherein the content of the first and second substances,the opening and closing unit passively opened by a flow of the fluid formed by a pressure difference between the emergency cooling tank and an external gas to discharge a part of the fluid to the outside when a pressure is higher than a preset pressure in an early stage of the accident in which a heat load transferred to the emergency cooling tank exceeds a cooling capacity of the emergency cooling tank and the heat exchange apparatus,the opening and closing unit is passively closed to prevent the fluid from being discharged and maintain the amount of the cooling water of the emergency cooling tank when the pressure is lower than a preset pressure in a later stage of the accident in which the heat load transferred to the emergency cooling tank is lower than the cooling capacity of the emergency cooling tank and the heat exchange device, andthe cooling capacity of the heat exchange apparatus is designed such that it can handle lower heat loads than the emergency cooling tank at the early stages of the accident.
