1. An isolated nucleic acid molecule consisting of:

  • (a) a polynucleotide sequence having at least 98% identity to SEQ ID No. 38, wherein said polynucleotide sequence encodes a polypeptide that functions as a signal peptide;

    (b) a polynucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide consisting of an amino acid sequence having at least 98% identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 37, wherein said amino acid sequence functions as a signal peptide;

    or(c) A polynucleotide sequence which is fully complementary to the polynucleotide sequence of (a) or (b),wherein the nucleic acid molecule is derived from Schizochytrium limacinum (Schizochytrium limacinum).
