1. A cutting tool having a central longitudinal axis, comprising:

  • a tool body including an insert pocket having a bottom wall, a back wall, and at least one side wall;

    a cantilevered member extending from a sidewall of the insert pocket; and

    an adjustment screw for applying a force to the cantilevered member to selectively adjust a position of a cutting insert mounted on the cantilevered member,wherein the cantilevered member includes a top support wall, a bottom support wall opposite the top support wall, and a rear support wall, and the adjustment screw is in contact with the bottom support wall of the cantilevered member, and the bottom support wall of the cantilevered member is not in contact with the cutting insert and the bottom and rear walls of the insert pocket, while the top and rear support walls of the cantilevered member are in contact with the cutting insert;

    wherein the adjustment screw is threaded into a threaded bore extending into a back wall of an insert pocket and defines a positive axial angle relative to an x-axis of the cutting tool perpendicular to a central longitudinal axis and a positive radial angle relative to a y-axis of the cutting tool perpendicular to both the x-axis and the central longitudinal axis, andwherein the cantilevered member is integrally formed with the tool body.
