1. A coprocessed excipient comprising:

  • a vinyl lactam derived polymer selected from the group of polymers or wherein the vinyl lactam is selected from the group of;

    n-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone, poly (vinyl pyrrolidone), polyvinyl polypyrrolidone, N-vinyl-2-caprolactam, N-vinyl-3-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, N-vinyl-3-methyl-2-caprolactam, N-vinyl-4-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, N-vinyl-4-methyl-2-caprolactam, N-vinyl-5-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, N-vinyl-5, 5-dimethyl-2-pyrrolidone, N-vinyl-3, 3, 5-trimethyl-2-pyrrolidone, poly (vinyl pyrrolidone), poly (vinyl pyrrolidone, N-vinyl-5-methyl-5-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone, N-vinyl-3, 4, 5-trimethyl-3-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone, N-vinyl-7-methyl-2-caprolactam, N-vinyl-7-ethyl-2-caprolactam, N-vinyl-3, 5-dimethyl-2-caprolactam, N-vinyl-4, 6-dimethyl-2-caprolactam, N-vinyl-3, 5, 7-trimethyl-2-caprolactam, and combinations thereof; and

    a de-agglomerated co-treatment agent having a particle size of less than 500nm, wherein the co-treatment agent de-agglomerates with shear on the order of at least 0.01 kW-hours/kg;

    wherein the co-processed excipient is prepared in a continuous process, wherein the co-processing results in silica coating of the vinyllactam-derived polymer, and the co-processed excipient has a Brookfield cohesion of less than 0.12kPa, a bulk density of at least 0.249g/mL, and flow properties as measured by a Johnson flow number increment from 1.1-fold to 5.0-fold; and

    isWherein the co-treating agent is a silica comprising fumed silica, colloidal silica, silicon dioxide, and/or combinations thereof.
