1. A method of allocating traffic by a terminal in a wireless communication system, comprising:

  • obtaining SSL parameters for at least one Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection with a server providing content, the SSL parameters being set by an application of the terminal;

    generating, based on the SSL parameters, a first SSL connection with the HTTPS-based server over a first network interface for receiving data of the content, if a secure hypertext transfer protocol (HTTPS) request is received from the application;

    receiving information on the data amount of the content from the server;

    identifying to allocate traffic to a plurality of network interfaces in response to identifying that the amount of data of the content is greater than a threshold and that the server supports an HTTP range request for distributed transmission of requested data;

    generating, based on the SSL parameters, a second SSL connection with the server over a second network interface based on the HTTPS for receiving data of the content while the first SSL connection is maintained;

    receiving first data of the content distributively transmitted over the first SSL connection from the server and second data of the content distributively transmitted over the second SSL connection from the server; and

    reconstituting the first data and the second data and transmitting the reconstituted data to the application.
