1. A preparation method of a carbon material for a lithium ion battery negative electrode is characterized by comprising the following steps:

  • polymerizing the coal liquefaction residues;

    stabilizing the polymerization product, and carbonizing the stabilized product;

    the polymerization is thermal polymerization;

    wherein the polymerization conditions include;

    the temperature is 390 ℃ and

    420 ℃

    ;

    wherein the carbonization is carried out according to the following steps;

    in the presence of argon, the temperature of the stabilized product is firstly raised from room temperature to 200-400 ℃

    at the temperature raising rate of 1-10 ℃

    /h, and then the temperature is kept for 0.5-3 h;

    then heating to 700-1200 ℃

    at the heating rate of 1-10 ℃

    /h, and then keeping the temperature for 4-12 h;

    the stabilizing conditions include;

    stabilizing in the presence of air at the temperature of 180-280 ℃

    for 8-15 h;

    the method further comprises the following steps;

    before polymerization, the 200 ℃

    coal liquefaction residue containing 15-35 wt% of ash and having a softening point of 120 ℃

    is purified to remove the ash therein, and the coal liquefaction asphalt having an ash content of less than 600ppm and a softening point of 90-180 ℃

    is obtained.
