1. A supercritical fluid-liquid chromatograph having:

  • a first solvent transport unit connected to the analysis flow path in both of a state of liquid chromatography and a state of supercritical fluid chromatography, and transporting a solvent to be a supercritical fluid by a first pump;

    a second solvent conveying unit that conveys an organic solvent having compatibility with the solvent and having polarity by a second pump;

    a separation column disposed on the analysis flow channel downstream of the junction between the first solvent transport unit and the second solvent transport unit;

    a sample injection unit that is disposed between the confluence unit and the separation column in the analysis flow channel and injects a sample into the analysis flow channel;

    a back pressure valve which is disposed downstream of the separation column with respect to the flow direction of the mobile phase in the analysis flow path, is connected to the analysis flow path in both a state of liquid chromatography and a state of supercritical fluid chromatography, and can be set in a pressurized state at a pressure at which the mobile phase in the analysis flow path is maintained in a supercritical fluid state;

    a detector which is disposed at least one of between the separation column and the back pressure valve in the analysis flow path and outside an open port of the back pressure valve to the atmosphere, and which detects a sample component eluted from the separation column; and

    the number of the first and second groups,a control unit that controls operations of the first pump, the second pump, and the back pressure valve; and

    isThe back pressure valve is configured to be switched between the pressurized state and an open state in which the back pressure valve is opened to the atmosphere,the control unit is configured to switch from a supercritical fluid chromatography state in which the first pump and the second pump are operated and the back pressure valve is maintained in the pressurized state to a liquid chromatography state in which the first pump is stopped and the second pump is continuously operated and the back pressure valve is opened, thereby allowing the analysis flow path to flow a mobile phase in a liquid state.
