1. An aqueous surfactant composition comprising:

  • one or more alpha-sulfofatty acid di-salts (a) of general formula (I);

    R1CH(SO3M1)COOM2 (I)wherein the radical R1Is a straight-chain or branched alkyl or alkenyl radical having from 6 to 16 carbon atomsAnd a group M1And M2Independently of one another, from H, Li, Na, K, Ca/2, Mg/2, ammonium and alkanolamines,one or more alkylglycosides (B) of general formula (II);

    R2O-[G]p (II)wherein R is2Is an alkyl and/or alkenyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, G is a sugar radical having 5 or 6 carbon atoms and p is a number from 1 to 10,the amount of water is such that,wherein the following conditions apply;

    as for compound (a), there are the following cases;

    wherein the radical R1The proportion of the compound (a) which is an alkyl group or an alkenyl group having 14 or more carbon atoms is 20% by weight or less based on the total amount of the compound (a) in the aqueous surfactant composition;

    as for the compound (B), there are the following cases;

    wherein the radical R2The proportion of the compound (B) which is an alkyl group or an alkenyl group having 15 or more carbon atoms is 5% by weight or less based on the total amount of the compound (B) in the aqueous surfactant composition;

    if the aqueous surfactant composition comprises one or more sulfonates (E) of the general formula (V);

    R5CH(SO3M5)COOR6 (V)wherein the radical R5Is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl radical having from 6 to 18 carbon atoms, and the radical R6Is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl radical having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, where the radical R6Logically only when there are more than 3 carbon atoms can be alkenyl or branched, and the radical M5Selected from Li, Na, K, Ca/2, Mg/2, ammonium and alkanolamines,then the following situation exists;

    compound (a) must be present in an amount of 50% by weight or more based on the sum of compounds (a) and (E);

    the weight ratio of compound (A) to (B) in the aqueous surfactant composition is from 0.7;
