1. An ophthalmologic apparatus for acquiring an image of an eye to be inspected based on a return beam from the eye to be inspected irradiated with a measuring beam via a scanning unit, comprising:

  • a focus position changing unit for changing a focus position of the measuring beam with respect to the eye to be inspected; and

a control unit configured to, in a case where the scanning unit is driven, control to change a state in which the eye to be inspected is not irradiated with the measuring beam to a state in which the eye to be inspected is irradiated with the measuring beam, and in a case where a relative position between an optical system in which the eye to be inspected is irradiated with the measuring beam and an anterior segment of the eye to be inspected satisfies a predetermined condition in a state in which the eye to be inspected is irradiated with the measuring beam, control the focus position changing unit based on an intensity or light amount of a return beam from the eye to be inspected and/or an intensity or light amount of a reference beam corresponding to the measuring beam.
