1. , the method for a kind of GE-PON (kilomegabit ethernet passive optical network) system use, this system comprises an OLT (optical fiber cable termination) and is connected to a plurality of ONU (optical network unit) of OLT via ODN (light power distribution network), described method distributes bandwidth so that transmit the ONU data for each ONU according to bandwidth request signal controlling OLT, and it comprises following steps:

  • A) from whole available bandwidths, be the minimum bandwidth that guarantees of each services selection of ONU request, and distribute minimum bandwidth to give ONU;

    B) distribute after the minimum bandwidth for the ONU that sends the bandwidth request signal, if all finding current available bandwidth in the available bandwidth, when the sum of the required bandwidth of ONU during less than current available bandwidth, distribute the required bandwidth of ONU, when the sum of the required bandwidth of ONU during greater than current available bandwidth, when quantity that from ONU, receives each formation and weight information, determine the new bandwidth on demand relevant, and carry out allocated bandwidth pro rata with determined bandwidth on demand with ONU.
