1. method of determining the frequency spectrum route in optical communication network (T) between the start node (ON1) of network and destination node (ON6) is characterized in that:

  • -use traditional route selecting method to determine that at least one connects the candidate space route (Route 1, Route

         2) of start node (ON1) to destination node (ON6), each candidate space route comprises a series of route segment, every section directly is connected with two nodes in the network and is suitable for supporting a plurality of wavelength, frequency spectrum route segment of each wavelength composition;

    -collection expression is along the parameter value of the feature of all frequency spectrum route segments of every candidate space route;

    And-last, use a kind of preferable methods to handle the parameter value that all are collected, so that select the frequency spectrum route and support its space route by the wavelength selecting to be used or the wavelength that will be used in succession, thereby start node and destination node are coupled together.
