SoftVault Systems Inc. filed suit against Symantec (3:12-cv-01658), alleging that Symantec’s “Mobile Management” systems infringe two patents related to the remote disablement of hardware and digital content. SoftVault has filed four prior suits since January 2006 against more than15 defendants including Dell, Intel, Microsoft, Palm, Samsung, Toshiba, and Yahoo. The patents-in-suit were developed by SoftVault and issued in June 2001 and July 2003 respectively.
