Nexus Display Technologies (NDT) launched its initial litigation filing five suits and then an additional  four cases a week later, targeting BenQ, Dell, Eizo, Lenovo, LG, NEC, Panasonic, Sony, and Viewsonic. Court filings reveal that the entity is a subsidiary of Acacia Research. A total of four patents are asserted in the cases although only three of the cases include all four patents (5,835,498, 7,143,328, 7,295,578, 7,599,439). NDT is the current owner of the asserted patents and is accusing defendants’ desktop computers, tablets, laptops, monitors, and projectors of infringement.
