Inventor-controlled Crypto Research, LLC has filed its first case, asserting three related cryptography patents (8,086,866; 8,516,262; 8,990,576) against ASSA Abloy and HID Global (2:16-cv-01718). The patents-in-suit generally relate to the computation of one-way chains, and the new NPE accuses the defendants of infringement through validation services provided as part of their CoreStreet and ActivIdentity products.
