Lenovo’s Multimode Computing Devices Targeted in LiTL’s First Lawsuit

May 22, 2020

LiTL LLC has filed suit against Lenovo (1:20-cv-00689) over the provision of various computing devices, including its Edge, Flex, IdeaPad Yoga, ThinkPad Yoga, Winbook, and Yoga products, emphasizing their operation in multiple “modes”: “notebook mode”, “stand mode”, “tablet mode”, and “tent mode”. Six patents generally related to portable computers with multiple display configurations are asserted against Lenovo, with LiTL pleading willful infringement based on, among other things, the citation of LiTL patents on the face of patents secured by Lenovo entities.
