LiTL Hits Trio of Additional Defendants Roughly One Year After Beating Alice

February 3, 2023

In May 2020, LiTL LLC sued Lenovo in the District of Delaware over six patents, five of which District Judge Richard G. Andrews has characterized as “Display Alteration Patents”, the sixth of which, as the “Remote Service Patent”. Per a January 2022 order, the plaintiff survived an early Alice challenge to all of the asserted patents, and after passing 2022 in the discovery process, making initial claim construction submissions early this past fall, those parties have stipulated to dismissal with prejudice. Now, LiTL has sued ASUSTek (1:23-cv-00122), Dell (1:23-cv-00121), and HP (1:23-cv-00120) over five of those six patents, as well as over three others new to the litigation, the cases again filed in the District of Delaware.
