OV Loop, Inc. has filed suit against MasterCard (7:23-cv-01773) in the Southern District of New York. The plaintiff alleges infringement of a single mobile payment authorization patent through the provision of the Mastercard Cloud-Based Payments (MCBP) and Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) specifications, as well as Host Card Emulation (HCE) mobile wallet systems that implement those specifications.
