RecepTrexx LLC has accused ASUSTek (6:23-cv-00485), OnePlus (6:23-cv-00486), and TCL (6:23-cv-00487) of infringing a single reissue patent generally related to a system for delaying the answering of a phone call through the provision of certain call handling features. In early May, the plaintiff started litigating different patents in a campaign targeting the Zigbee 3.0 mesh networking protocol, most recently suing Aeotec, Lumi United Technology (d/b/a Aqara), Philips, and TP-Link, and then later that month sued Xperi (TiVo) over a single patent generally related to a local proxy server. The patents across these three campaigns belong to a portfolio of six former Intellectual Ventures LLC (IV) patents that RecepTrexx received this past April.
