New “Sensory Feedback” Campaign Taps Peloton

January 10, 2024

Lightning Fitness Systems LLC—a plaintiff that appears to be connected to a familiar patent monetization figure—has filed suit against Peloton (Precor) (1:24-cv-00012) in the District of Delaware. Peloton is accused of infringing a single patent, generally related to sending a signal or controlling a device in response to “sensory feedback” detected while moving, through the provision of fitness machines and related products (e.g., heart rate bands/monitors and mobile apps).
