A fourth real-time remote collaboration patent issued to Rosebud LMS, Inc. earlier in 2017, and the NPE has now asserted it, together with an earlier-issuing family member, in a new case against Salesforce (1:17-cv-01712). The complaint targets Salesforce’s Quip Collaboration software, acquired with Quip in late 2016. Rosebud spent 2010 through 2015 litigating its patents against Adobe before filing and dismissing cases in quick succession against Microsoft, Oracle, and Dropbox last year.
