Phenix Longhorn, LLC has filed suit against Samsung (2:24-cv-01077) in the Eastern District of Texas. The case has been assigned to District Judge Robert W. Schroeder III, who is presiding over the plaintiff’s other two active cases, one against AUO Corporation (f/k/a AU Optronics Corporation), together with Hisense (Hisense Electrónica México, S.A. de C.V. (“Hisense Mexico”), Hisense USA, Hisense Visual Technology); and the other against InnoLux. Both were filed in October 2023, after Phenix Longhorn acquired funding, and both have been somewhat bogged down in the earlier stages of litigation.
