1. A wireless power transmitter comprising:

  • a controller; and

    a phased array antenna communicatively coupled to the controller, the phased array antenna having a plurality of electro-magnetic array transceivers for transmitting an electro-magnetic power transmission signal;

    wherein the controller;

    detects a presence of a plurality of mobile receivers including a first mobile receiver,transmits, using a first subset of the plurality of electro-magnetic array transceivers, a first electro-magnetic power transmission signal to the plurality of mobile receivers at a first frequency, wherein the first subset of the plurality of electro-magnetic array transceivers are tuned to the first frequency,receives, using the phased array antennae, a first indication of a power level of the first electro-magnetic power transmission signal from the first mobile receiver,determines a second frequency based upon the first indication of the power level,tunes a second subset of the plurality of electro-magnetic array transceivers to the second frequency,during a first period, concurrently transmits to the first mobile receiver, the first electro-magnetic power signal using the first subset at the first frequency and a second electro-magnetic power transmission signal using the second subset at the second frequency, andduring a second period that is subsequent to the first period, stops transmitting the first electro-magnetic power transmission signal after the second electro-magnetic power transmission signal is transmitted.
