1. A system for treating ethmoid disease in a human or animal subject, said system comprising:
- a penetrator device that is insertable through the ethmoid bulla to form an opening into at least one ethmoid air cell; and
an implantable device comprising a reservoir that has a deflated configuration and an inflated configuration, said implantable device being insertable through the opening formed by the penetrator device while the reservoir is in its deflated configuration and said reservoir being thereafter fillable to an inflated configuration.
