14. A system for electrical braking of a road vehicle of which a wheel is linked in rotation to a rotary electric machine, a wheel drive electronic module driving the rotary electric machine of the wheel, the comprising:

a central unit, which manages movement of the vehicle, the central unit controlling the wheel drive electronic module; and a braking control unit operable by a driver, the braking control unit being linked mechanically to sensors delivering a control signal for braking the vehicle, the control signal having a given amplitude representative of a total braking force desired for the vehicle, the sensors being distributed into a first group and a second group, in which a sensor of the first group is connected physically to the central unit and delivers an analogue control signal to the central unit, and in which a sensor of the second group delivers an analogue control signal to the wheel drive electronic module, the wheel drive electronic module delivering information originating from the sensor of the second group to the central unit via a computer-based type of communication pathway. - View Dependent Claims (15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26)
