enabling a user to interact with the page through a touch screen control to navigate through the electronic book;
detecting that a user has touched a portion of the electronic representation of the paper page;
detecting that the user intended to hold the touched portion; and
presenting, in response to detecting that the user intended to hold the touched portion, a menu of commands related to the touched portion of the electronic representation of a paper page.
