1. A system for displaying telematics data to a driver of a vehicle, the system comprising:
- a computer memory for storing data indicative of telematics data received from a sensor within a vehicle, the telematics data comprising at least one of geo-position information of the vehicle and vehicle kinematics data; and
a processor in communication with the memory, wherein the processor is configured for;
identifying safety events, the safety events comprising one or more of deceleration above a threshold, acceleration above a threshold, turning above a threshold, speeding above a threshold and lane change speed above a threshold, and associated safety event locations based on the data indicative of the telematics data, andcausing to be displayed to the driver indications of the safety events on a map display along with indications of safety events associated with other drivers.

Abstract
A system and method are disclosed herein to determine an insurance premium discount based on telematics data. The system includes a computer memory and a processor in communication with the computer memory. The computer memory stores data indicative telematics data received from a sensor within a vehicle, including at least one of geo-position information of the vehicle and vehicle kinematics data. The processor is configured to identify safety events and associated safety event locations based on the telematics data. The processor is further configured to display to the driver indications of the safety events on a map display along with indications of safety events associated with other drivers.
