3. A process for increasing the dose of drug delivered from a dosage form possessing controlled-sustained release delivery, wherein the dosage form comprises:
- a membrane and a dose of drug, and wherein the process comprises;
blending means with the membrane for making the membrane flexible and distensible;
shaping the membrane to provide a shaped membrane; and
changing the dosage form from a non-rounded dosage form to a rounded dosage form thereby increasing the dose of drug delivered at a controlled-release rate from the dosage form.
