1. A method of processing a sports video by a computer comprising:
- (a) said computer receiving a video stream of a sporting event that includes a plurality of different segments, each segment represented by a video frame sequence, said video stream further including at least one replay segment which includes a starting logo followed by a plurality of replay video frames followed by an ending logo, where said replay segment is included in said received video stream and said plurality of replay video frames sequentially repeats at least one said video frame sequence presented in a segment in said received video stream;
(b) said computer identifying a plurality of said replay segments of said video;
(c) wherein said computer identifies the beginning of said replay segments based upon identifying a respective starting logo transition within said video; and
(d) wherein said computer identifies the end of said replay segments based upon identifying a respective ending logo transition within said video.
