1. A portable device payment processing system comprising:
- a database; and
a server computer coupled to the database, wherein the server computer comprises a processor and a computer-readable storage medium coupled to the processor, the computer-readable storage medium comprising code executable by the processor for implementing a method comprising;
receiving transaction data at the server computer from a transit payment system, wherein the transaction data is transit transaction data, the transit transaction data including an identifier of the transit payment system and a payment application identifier of a payment application, and wherein the payment application is embedded in a portable device involved in a transaction with the transit payment system;
determining, by the server computer, a hotel based on the payment application identifier in the transaction data; and
sending, by the server computer, the transaction data to a hotel management system associated with the hotel, wherein the hotel management system places a charge based on the transaction data onto a hotel folio.
