1. A system for managing content having metadata, comprising:
- an edge facility including a content source and a cache repository communicatively connected to each other, the content source for generating the content having the metadata, and the cache repository for storing the content received from the content source;
a primary system communicatively connected to the edge facility, the primary system including a central registry and a central repository, the central registry for receiving the metadata from the edge facility, and registering the content in the central registry using the metadata, and the central repository for receiving and storing the content from the cache repository; and
a secondary system communicatively connected to the primary system and the edge facility, the secondary system including a backup repository and a backup registry, the backup repository for storing a backup of the content received and stored in the central repository, and the backup registry for storing a backup of the central registry.
