1. A non-contact power transmitting device, comprising:

  • a power receiving device including a rectification circuit, a voltage converting circuit, a storage circuit in which an authentication pattern is stored, and a switching circuit, the switching circuit being configured to connect or disconnect the voltage converting circuit to or from a load circuit according to the authentication pattern stored in the storage circuit; and

    a power transmitting device including a power transmitting circuit, a detection circuit configured to detect a current that is supplied to the power transmitting circuit, and a determination circuit configured to compare the detected current value with a threshold current to determine whether the load circuit of the power receiving device is connected or disconnected, the power transmitting device being configured to transmit power to the power receiving device in a non-contact manner.
