1. A non-contact power transmitting device, comprising:
- a power receiving device including a rectification circuit, a voltage converting circuit, and a switching circuit, the switching circuit being configured to connect or disconnect the voltage converting circuit to or from a load circuit; and
a power transmitting device including a power transmitting circuit, a detection circuit configured to detect a current that is supplied to the power transmitting circuit, and a determination circuit configured to compare the detected current value with a threshold current and determine whether the load circuit of the power receiving device is in contact with the power transmitting device, the power transmitting device being configured to transmit power to the power receiving device in a non-contact manner.
