1. Method for an anti-sprouting treatment of tubers comprising the following steps:

  • applying 3-chlorophenylisopropylcarbamate (CIPC) and limonene to said tubers in a total amount of CIPC and limonene effective to at least partially supress sprouting of said tubers compared to untreated tubers and to remove sprouts that have formed on said tubers compared to untreated tubers, wherein the ratio of the mass of limonene over the mass of CIPC is higher than 4.
