1. A method for evaluating any causal linkage between the promotional activities of sales representatives for specific pharmaceuticals of various pharmaceutical companies and the pharmaceuticals prescribed by physicians for their patients, said method comprising:
- (A) establishing a single panel of a plurality of geographically diversified prescribing physicians;
(B) collecting first data from each of said physicians regarding the promotional activities of the sales representatives whom said physicians have encountered with respect to the specific pharmaceuticals;
(C) collecting second data from each of said physicians regarding the diagnosis and treatment of the patients of said physicians with respect to said specific pharmaceuticals;
(D) providing said first and second data into a database; and
(E) analyzing said database of said first and second data to evaluate any cause and effect relationship between the promotional activities of the sales representatives and the pharmaceuticals prescribed by the physicians to their patients.
