Abstract

A mirror assembly includes a mirror and a light fixture configured to be releasably coupled to the mirror. The light fixture has a mounting structure and a first lamp support attached to the mounting structure for supporting a first lamp. The light fixture further includes a second lamp support attached to the mounting structure for supporting a second lamp adjacent to the first lamp. The second lamp support is elastically deformable between a lamp support position that obstructs removal of the first lamp and a release position that does not obstruct removal of the first lamp.

Claims

1. A mirror assembly, comprising:

(a) a mirror; and

(b) light fixture configured to be releasably coupled to the mirror, the light fixture comprising;

(i) a mounting structure;

(i) a first lamp support attached to the mounting structure for supporting a first lamp; and

(ii) a second lamp support attached to the mounting structure for supporting a second lamp adjacent to the first lamp, wherein the second lamp support is elastically deformable between a lamp support position that obstructs removal of the first lamp and a release position that does not obstruct removal of the first lamp.

2. The mirror assembly of claim 1, the second lamp support comprising a flexible clip having an undeflected state defining the lamp support position and a deflected state defining the release position.

3. The mirror assembly of claim 2, wherein the flexible clip is sized and configured in the undeflected state to couple the second lamp to the chassis.

4. The mirror assembly of claim 2, the second lamp support further comprising a second flexible clip having an undeflected state in the lamp support position and a deflected state in the release position.

5. The mirror assembly of claim 4, wherein the second flexible clip is sized and configured in the undeflected state to couple the second lamp to the chassis.

6. A mirror assembly, comprising:

(a) a mirror; and

(b) a chassis couplable to the mirror, the chassis comprising;

(i) a first lamp support for coupling a first lamp to the mirror assembly; and

(ii) a second lamp support for coupling a second lamp to the mirror assembly, the second lamp support comprising a flexible support bracket, the flexible support bracket being elastically deformable from a first position to a second position, wherein the flexible support bracket in the first position impedes decoupling the first lamp from the mirror assembly, and the flexible support bracket in the second position enables decoupling the first lamp from the mirror assembly.

7. The mirror assembly of claim 6, the second lamp support further comprising a second flexible support for coupling the second lamp to the mirror assembly.

8. The mirror assembly of claim 7, the second flexible support bracket being elastically deformable from a third position to a fourth position.

9. The mirror assembly of claim 8, wherein the second flexible support bracket in the third position impedes decoupling the first lamp from the mirror assembly.

10. The mirror assembly of claim 9, wherein the second flexible support bracket in the fourth position enables decoupling the first lamp from the mirror assembly.

11. A mirror assembly, comprising:

(a) a mirror; and

(b) a chassis coupled to the mirror, the chassis comprising;

(i) a base;

(ii) a first lamp removably coupled to the base; and

(iii) a lamp support for removably coupling a second lamp to the base so that the first lamp is disposed between the base and the second lamp, the lamp support being movable between (1) a lamp support state for supporting the second lamp and for obstructing removal of the first lamp from the base and (2) a removal state for enabling removal of the first lamp from the base.

12. The mirror assembly of claim 11, the lamp support comprising a flexible support bracket attached at a first end to the base, a second end of the flexible support bracket being removably couplable to the second lamp.

13. The mirror assembly of claim 12, wherein the flexible support bracket is positioned to obstruct removing the first lamp from the base in the lamp support state.

14. The mirror assembly of claim 13, the flexible support bracket being elastically deformable to a deflected position to enable removal of the first lamp from the base, the deflected position defining the removal state.
