- setting at least one energy reduction threshold;
monitoring a market indicator for energy supplied to the facility;
providing a time of day schedule for the facility wherein the schedule determines available time periods when the facility may reduce energy consumption; and
shedding facility loads corresponding to at least one energy reduction threshold if the energy reduction threshold is less than said market indicator and said time of day schedule allows for shedding.
