Abstract
There is described a heat sink having at least one tube through which cooling medium flows and which is surrounded by a heat-conducting material, wherein the tube wall of the at least one tube is corrugated in the direction of flow. The corrugated embodiment has the advantage that the transition from laminar to turbulent flow relative to a straight-walled tube is effected at a lower flow velocity and the heat transfer area is greater at the same tube length.
